Booking and the visit
How do I book a repair visit?
Use the short booking form on any page. Pick the appliance, add the service address and leave your name and phone number. We get in touch to agree on a time that suits you.
What happens during the visit?
A technician comes to your home and starts with a diagnosis. Once the cause is clear, you get a plain explanation and the repair price before anything is fixed. Then you decide.
What if I'm not sure what's wrong?
That's what the visit is for. Just describe what you notice, like a sound, a smell, a puddle or an error code. The diagnosis does the rest.
Can it be fixed on the first visit?
That depends on the part. If it needs to be ordered, the repair can take a second visit. Either way, you'll know the plan up front.
Cost and pricing
How much does a visit cost?
The service call is $95. Through October 31, 2026, it's $20 instead. The repair price depends on what the diagnosis finds, and you get it before we fix anything. Say yes to the repair and your service call fee counts toward it in full.
Why is a phone quote only a rough guess?
The same symptom can come from very different parts. A warm fridge might be a fan, a defrost part or a sealed-system fault, and each costs something different. The diagnosis pins down the actual part, so the price you get is for your real repair.
Do I have to say yes to the repair?
No. You get the explanation and the price first, and the choice is yours. If you pass, the service call is the only charge. Saying no is completely normal, and nobody will push you.
What exactly is the October offer?
A $20 service call through October 31, 2026. From November 1 the service call is $95, so that's $75 less for the visit. The repair itself is priced separately, after the diagnosis, and you get that price before anything is fixed. Say yes to the repair and your $20 counts toward it in full.
Do repairs come with a warranty?
A 90-day warranty covers each repair we make.
Renters, buildings and neighborhoods
Which parts of Los Angeles do you cover?
Five of them: the Westside and the Marina, Hollywood and Central LA, Northeast LA, the San Gabriel Valley, and Inglewood with the LAX area. Marina del Rey is our home base. Our service areas page lists the neighborhoods, cities and county communities in each area.
I rent. Can I book a repair myself?
Check with your landlord or building manager first. In many rentals the appliance belongs to the owner, and they may have their own way of handling repairs. If they ask you to arrange it, go ahead and book.
I live in a building with a gate or garage. What should I tell you?
The gate or buzzer code, where a technician can park, which entrance to use and whether there's an elevator. Add it to the notes in the booking form.
My address is just outside your list. Can I still ask?
Please do. Send a request with your ZIP code, and we'll let you know plainly if we can make it.
Appliances, repair or replace
What kinds of appliances can you fix?
Fridges and freezers, ovens and ranges, cooktops, dishwashers, and washers and dryers. Start with our services to see common problems for each.
Do you work on my brand?
Call or text (424) 524-1195 with the make and model, and we'll confirm before the visit. A photo of the model tag is the easiest way to share it.
Should I fix an older appliance or replace it?
You get the repair quote first, so you can hold it up against a new machine. Our repair-or-replace guide walks through the numbers.
Is there anything I can safely try first?
Yes. Each service page has a short "try this first" list, and our guides go step by step. Unplug the appliance or turn its breaker off before you open a panel or reach inside, and if you smell gas, leave the home and call SoCalGas or 911 from outside.
